Please be advised that Vidane has adopted much of GOBRL's rulebook to avoid foncusion. There are not many differences from what we've been running so far -- simply clarifications and explanations. We feel that GOBRL's rulebook is thorough and more than fair enough to be used in Vidane.

Vidane Rules Page (http://www.vidane.com/page.php?id=1)

Key Points:

In the event of a multi-car wreck on the first lap, a car involved may request a restart before the first lap is completed -- maximum one restart per race. This was a very difficult decision for us to make, but we feel that more drivers will a) finish the race and b) leave with a better attitude.
GOBRL's rule which gives a one-week suspension to drivers voluntarily retiring from three consecutive races will not be transfered over at this time.
If you spin three times in one race, you'll be asked to park the car in order to limit the number of cautions.
Cars that are not on the lead lap on a restart with 10 laps to go or less must pit to restart at the end of the line.
If a driver has connection problems after qualifying that forces him to re-connect to the race server after the race has started, Vidane officials will return the laps (within reason). There is no official rule at this time, but drivers, please submit your car file at least a day or two before the race to give other drivers enough time to download it.

We don't like adopting rules mid-season, but we're sure you agree with us in saying that these updated guidelines are necessary.
