Broadcast Race

Hi everyone,

As you know, we had a broadcast race scheduled for last Friday at Coca-Cola. Unfortunately, RLMtv had some technical difficulties and was unable to broadcast our race.

We originally planned to reschedule the broadcast for this Friday's race at Piggzcreek; however, we have decided against that.

Instead, the next race broadcast LIVE on RLMtv will be the 4/11 race at RCC Superspeedway.

Sounds like a good deal to me. As it stands, I am supposed to start my second job the 25th, so the 18th will be my last race with you guys until October. :(

I petition we move the SSTS to a week night. ;)

When I started with you guys I figured I would just let my job at the drive in go, but 10 dollars an hour to sit on my rear, watch TV, and deep fry everything on this side of the AIDS virus is just too much to pass on. Plus, it's free food, and I get to see a lot of movies for free.

Best nights are the night races because I get paid to sit around and watch the race. Same goes with pre-season football. When the pre-season starts, we watch any game thats on.

Just an advance as well, I will be missing next week at RCC. I am leaving for Louisiana Sunday morning, and won't be back for a week. So I guess all I got left with you guys this season is Friday night, and the broadcast race :(

But fear not, for I shall return in full in the fall. ;)

Sigh... RLMtv told us that 4/18 is booked. We're going to have to pick a different race to broadcast that's not on 4/18, 5/2, or 5/16.

I may be overstepping my boundaries here, but aren't they obligated to get us done right away? I mean I saw the prices for a broadcast, and I'm sure that bill has been paid already, and since it has, to me at least, they're first priority should be getting our broadcast done... It would be different if the broadcast hadn't gone down due to problems that we presented, but thats not the case... The problems were on their end, and as a result we have to take whatever is left that they give us?

Doesn't seem right to me... Just my opinion.

We should be racing a broadcast race tonight, not at talladega unless we are racing BR.

All that will happen is one line the whole race unless it is tallyBR.

Even then I think we should do it tonight!

Agreed. They couldn't fufil their obligation to us last week and I don't see it as fair that they aren't willing to do so unless it is "at their liesure".

We won't be doing a broadcast tonight. Nor will we be broadcasting the Talladega race. They had a race already scheduled for the night we run Talladega. The next broadcast is going to be, NEXT Friday at RCCSS.

You're not overstepping any boundaries at all. Yes the bill is paid and in it would make sense for them to broadcast our stuff the very next week. But if they have previous arrangements we just have to respect that. Everything is being worked on and I personally am in touch with Brian from RLMtv on a daily basis.

I know a lot of ya'll are disappointed about not having the broadcast tonight. Trust me Steve and I both are as well. But! If it's any consolation, the top 3 tonight get free Vidane T-shirts! Winner gets the Vidane Shirt AND an eXlander shirt!

Well, I plan to try and be up there because I don't wanna be caught in the mess of flying and flipping cars at the back of the pack trying to win a free shirt ^_^

Boy do I feel kind of bad now... I feel like I jinxed myself last night... I had a run that was on its way to carrying me to 1st place and I ended up being one of the flipping and flying cars >_<

On a bright note though, I ended the race on my roof, I just never made it to the line ^_^
