Hey guys. I feel really bad about wrecking on lap 1 of the race last night. Im sure I took out alot of good drivers and for that I apoligize. I thought vidane had the same restart rule as GOBRL.but they dont. It was totally all my fault, the game did not glitch. I hope there are no hard feelings. I just wanted to clear that up because some thought it may have been a glitch. ( I wish ). I screwed up. Hopefully some good will come out of this and the 1st lap restart rule will be implimented. I believe it needs to be.

Yeah man I hate that that happened last night. Normally we more than likely would have restarted it if it was more than half the field in the wreck, which I believe it was in this case. But the race was an hour and change behind schedule and both Steve and I really wanted to get racing under-way. But it was brought to my attention last night that it would have been a good idea to restart after the wreck, being that ya'll stuck around so long for the delay and ended up just getting wrecked. I hate that, and if I was thinking that's what I would have done. But you kinda have to look at it in my shoes. I had about 5000 things going through my head and it just seemed like the right call to make at that time. Looking back though I also believe the race should have been restarted.

Like I said last night to a few guys that stuck around after the race, this week Steve and I are going to fine-tune the rules page. I HATE having to do this mid-season, but it has to be done. For the most part we have an idea of what needs to be stated, but the restart rule is going to be voted on by the Vidane Drivers. It seems like it's one of those 50/50 issues. There is a poll on VIDANE.com about the restarts. PLEASE everyone vote on it before next Thursday!!

Again sorry to anyone that got wrecked out early last night. The race was great, but the night overall just wasn't all that great. We really appreciate you guys sticking around last night to race after the hour delay. We got the RLMtv broadcast rescheduled to next Friday.

Well, like I told you last night dozer, what happened last night was a really freak situation... I mean we won't have situations like that but once in a blue moon with the delay... So even when you do (or even if) make changes to the rules, there will still be a few exceptions to the rules. Everything about last night was totally situational really. If we hadn't been delayed for so long, I doubt there would have been near as much animosity as I hear there was. (I was the last loser stuck on TS until after the race)

I like the idea of having a clearly stated rule on a given subject, like the restarts, but sometimes thats not the final solution to the problem because sometimes, like last night, you'll have situations arise that could never even be planned for.
