Appearently the oil lid was listed as "Off"
This of course could get more air into the engine and therefore more speed out of it...
NASCAR is set to hand out a ruling today, but nothing has come yet, so we'll wait and see I guess...
A lot of people are calling for the win to be stripped, and I can't say I disagree... Surely Bob Osbourne will have a mini-vacation as will 100 of Edwards points, and a chunk of his wallet, but it's a little more now because he won the race...
For those of you keeping track, this is Edwards second failure of the PRI in three wins. His car at Dover was found to not meet NASCAR's standards in the race at Dover during the chase...
Not trying to accuse Edwards and the crew, but seems like they aren't afraid to push the envelope... And since when has Ford been that good?
Will update if I find anything on a penalty throughout the evening...
