Is the race video up for download yet? I really want to burn it to a dvd!

I'm working on it. I need to figure out an alternative to putting it on our webserver since it would eat up bandwidth like crazy. I'll probably have to find a way to put it on Google Video or something, even though it's two hours long...

Could you put it in a Windows Media File and then upload it to like www.megauploads.com or somewheres... lol

Steve's going to put the a flash drive or dvd and send it to me. I'll upload the video file to one of my sites being that I have nearly unlimited bandwidth.

I'll also be producing DVDs of the race, and maybe a few other race clips depending on what I can find. It'll probably be around 5 bucks per dvd to cover shipping. Those won't be ready for a few weeks yet though.

Have you guys considered torrenting? You can make the race replay file into a torrent, and host it on a public tracker such as ISOHunt, ThePirateBay, ETC... Then you can upload the torrent file on the site (I've never seen a torrent file over 80 KB) and have them download the torrent file into their client and get great replay distribution that way.

I used to run a wrestling forums/E-fed and I used to do audio updates and awards shows and such, and I would make it into a torrent, track it through demonoid (RIP) and the .torrent file was small enough that I could load it directly onto our boards so members didn't even have to visit demonoid to get.

A big upside to this, especially today in our sans demonoid world (I swear to god I will kill the people who killed demonoid... Those who used it will wholeheartedly agree ^_^) is that you can get outsiders possibly looking at the product... Someone searches for "NASCAR" and it brings up a sim league race, they are intrigued, they check it out, like what they see, and want to try it themself... (Enter: ISOHunt AGAIN. Thats how I got my game.)

It seems like the best way to get the show distributed to everyone for free. I dunno what exactly you do with the replay whether it be commentary or what, but this would also speed up the amount of time it takes to distribute the race. Depending on what all you do with the replay, you could have it uploading to users by mid-week, and users could have it on their PC by weekend.

Are you farmilliar with torrenting?
